From Silo Thinking to Systems Thinking: Improving Team & Organizational Performance

October 2025 TBD

Our public workshop is an opportunity for you to experience an expert-led demonstration of the game and debrief (Day 1) so you can evaluate Friday Night at the ER for potential use within your own organization. Stay for the optional facilitator training (Day 2) at no extra cost to learn how to use it successfully on your own.

Special bonus workshop: Please also join us for a free workshop the afternoon of Day 1 to try our newest offering, Metalog Tools. These 20+ hands-on learning products are quick to learn and easy to use. The tools are “interaction metaphors” that engage learners in the development of skills like teamwork, leadership, and creative problem-solving. They are also used to address many organizational themes including trust, diversity, customer focus, and more.

What People Say About Our Workshops

“I can’t remember the last time I was in a room with a single facilitator for six hours and was engaged the entire time. The game itself was fun, but the robust group discussion that followed was where the magic happened. Everyone in the room contributed to the meaning-making process; our facilitator truly facilitated our learning as we did the heavy lifting of connecting the dots. It was one of the most memorable learning experiences I’ve had in my professional life – I continued to unveil to insights on my own for days afterwards.”

Kelly Lisy, Senior Professional, Organizational Development & Learning, University Hospitals Cleveland

“Jeff did an exceptional job of explaining the simulation and provided enough feedback to encourage discussion amongst the group. It was a well-organized event, with just enough information without getting stuck in the weeds.”

Doug Lane, Southwest Region Deputy Regional Administrator, Federal Aviation Administration

“It was really helpful to learn best practices as well as tips and tricks from an experienced facilitator. I definitely will be able to use “Friday Night in the ER” to a greater potential than if I had not attended this workshop!”

Julie Elsigan, Clinical Assistant Professor, Physician Assistant Studies, St. Bonaventure University
