Our CEO Jeff Heil, a key figure in the 2013 redesign of Friday Night at the ER, will co-lead the 2019 National Leadership Symposium in Las Vegas July 8-11. At this year’s symposium, leadership educators from colleges and universities around the country will explore the intersection of systems thinking, sustainability and perspective taking.

As one of three NLS Scholars, Jeff will introduce participants to core principles of systems thinking experientially, and speak to ways in which a systems thinking lens can be woven into their educational practice. He will be joined by acclaimed organizational and leadership strategists Amer F. Ahmed and Kathy Allen, thought leaders in perspective taking and sustainability respectively.

Now in its 29th year, NLS is an immersive professional development event for faculty members, student affairs professionals and other educators involved with promoting leadership in higher learning. This year’s theme is “Leadership & Interconnection: How leadership development can help students build critical hope and take action in place.” Learn more on the NLS website.
